Main structure
Power system
Motor: Provides power source for the equipment. Common motors include ordinary motors, electromagnetic speed regulating motors, etc. Electromagnetic speed regulating motors can adjust the corresponding speed according to the workpiece and the pressing process.
Hydraulic station: For hydraulic flange forming machines, the hydraulic station is an important power part. The electric oil pump outputs high-pressure oil, which is sent to the working cylinder or motor through the high-pressure oil pipe. The high-pressure oil pushes the plunger in the working cylinder or motor to generate thrust and torque.
Transmission system
Reducer: including main reducer, auxiliary reducer, etc., responsible for reducing speed, converting the high-speed rotation of the motor into a low-speed, high-torque output suitable for rolling work
Gears, chains or belts: Some flange forming machines transmit power through gears, chains or belts, transferring power from the motor or reducer to each working part to achieve the rotation of the roller and other movements.
Working mechanism
Roller: Generally, there are three or four rollers. In the three-roller symmetrical structure, the upper roller presses down to provide pressure, and the two lower rollers rotate to provide torque for the rolled plate; in the four-roller structure, three hydraulic cylinders usually drive four rollers, which can better control the rolling accuracy and strength. The surface of the roller is usually specially treated to increase friction and wear resistance to ensure effective rolling of the profile.
Pressing wheel and pressing wheel shaft: The pressing wheel can apply pressure to the profile driven by the feed screw and other components to cause bending deformation. The pressing wheel shaft is used to support the pressing wheel to ensure the rotation and force transmission of the pressing wheel.
Mold: Usually a combination type, it can be replaced and adjusted according to different profile specifications and flange size requirements. After the change combination, it can be applied to a variety of profiles, such as flat steel, channel steel, round pipe or other special-shaped profiles.
Control system
Electric control cabinet: used to control electrical functions and implement various operating instructions. Operators use buttons, switches and other components on the electric control cabinet to start, stop, adjust speed, and control hydraulic system pressure.
Sensors: Some advanced flange forming machines are equipped with sensors, such as displacement sensors and pressure sensors, which are used to monitor the working status of the equipment and the forming status of the profiles in real time, and feed the data back to the control system for precise control and adjustment.
